Winter driving tips for Colorado's mountains

The traction law, chain stations and how to time I-70 traffic.

Know the traction law

Head west before 7 AM on weekends and return before noon on Sundays to avoid the worst ski traffic.

Use COtrip.org for live road conditions and closures before you leave.
